Asana refers to the physical postures of Yoga. There are many benefits attributed to Yoga Asana including building strength and flexibility, releasing tension and emotional blockages, developing willpower, promoting relaxation and improving your relationship with your body.

Individual yoga classes provide an opportunity to personalise your practice, build confidence in attending group sessions, and use yoga as therapy. Whether you are entirely new to the mat, or returning after years away, sessions are built around your body, your breath, and what is asking to move in you now.

We may work with asana, pranayama, simple philosophy, or stillness. The shape follows you.

What to expect

  • 01One-to-one sessions of 60–75 minutes, in person or online.
  • 02A practice sequence to take into your own week, however small.
  • 03Attention to breath, alignment, and the inner experience of the pose.
  • 04An ongoing thread rather than a single class — yoga as relationship.
